I have to give Morgan all of the credit.
I usually have a general idea of what I'll be using during creative sessions, but when we found out the dress was about 3 sizes too big for her, we had to roll with it. I could tell after the first set of us balancing a flower on her head, and now clamping her in to an oversized dress, she was a little hesitant- ha! But as soon as I showed her the back of the camera her eyes lit up and I knew we were going to make some true MAGIC.
When I started painting this piece I could not stop gushing. All of the textures in her dress, the glow of the lantern on the different fabrics, the twists of her hair and her soft smile....this was absolutely amazing to paint. I adore this piece. Thank you for trusting me, Morgan!!
